Closest Airport is Tirgu Mures (TGM), at less than 150km. Low cost airline Wizzair flies there from London Luton on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (also in winter): Wizzair . Flights to Bucharest are more regular and there is a larger choice of airlines. Other possible airports are Sibiu and Cluj Napoca. We can meet and greet you at the respective airport.

Travelling to Miklósvár from Bucharest Miklósvár is approximately 3 to 3.5 hours by car from Otopeni International Airport (Bucharest, Romania), depending on traffic conditions.  The inter-city train from Bucharest to Braşov takes 2 to 2.5 hours (see online timetable).

If you are driving from Bucharest, you have to pass through Braşov in the direction of Târgu Mureş until you reach the E60. In the centre of Feldioara leave the main road and turn right towards Sfantu Gheorghe. Once you have passed through Feldioara, you will cross the railway, followed by a bridge across the Olt river. The next location you arrive to is Haghig. At the entrance of the village there is a crossing where you`ll have to turn left in direction of Baraolt. The next village you`ll reach is Arini, than Belin and Aita Mare. Follow the main road to the left, cross over the iron bridge until you arrive in the next village, which is Micloşoara. Pass the white church and go down the hill, to your right you will see a large wooden gate in front of a large white house, nr. 186. You can park your car in the rear courtyard, which is found by turning sharp right at the side of the house.
Please note the maps show another possibilities to reach Miklósvár, through the villages of Maierus and Apaţa, but the bridges across the Olt river are temporarily closed due to poor condition.

Travelling to Miklósvár from Budapest
The inter-city train from Budapest (Hungary) to Brasov takes approximately 9 to 10 hours.  By car, it will take you a day's drive through Transylvania (650km) to reach Miklósvár.
